How Aunt or Uncle DNA Test Accuracy Works
Unlike a direct paternity test, where a child is expected to share approximately 50% of their DNA with a biological parent, an aunt or uncle relationship is more distant. Because of this, avuncular DNA testing involves more complex relationship analysis.
