How It Works

  • 1. Visit our Omaha office: Walk in or arrange a convenient time.
  • 2. Choose collection: Complete cheek swabs with staff assistance or take the kit home.
  • 3. Submit the samples: For office collection, our team packages and submits the samples. If you take a kit home, return the labeled samples and completed forms to our office or use the kit's supplied return instructions.
  • 4. Receive results: Results are typically emailed within 1–3 business days after the laboratory receives and accepts the samples and paperwork.

Testing Multiple Children or Alleged Fathers

The $159 in-office service includes one alleged father and one child. Each additional alleged father or child adds $100 to the same case. Tell your DNA Specialist everyone who needs to participate so the correct comparisons and collection supplies can be arranged.

Example in-office case Total under the published participant pricing
One alleged father and one child $159
One alleged father and two children $259
Two alleged fathers and one child $259
Two alleged fathers and two children $359

An optional cheek-swab reference sample from the child's known biological mother adds no charge. If the possible fathers are brothers or other close relatives, tell your specialist before collection; that family relationship matters when planning the comparison. Each child's result concerns the man or men tested against that child, so one child's result should not be treated as an answer for another child.

Accurate, Private Results

The laboratory compares 24 DNA genetic markers and uses dual processing. When paternity is confirmed, results typically show a probability of 99.999% or higher. When excluded, the result is reported as 100% exclusion.

Testing is completed through a trusted U.S.-based AABB-accredited and CAP-certified laboratory partner. Review our laboratory standards and accreditation information.

For help reading the conclusion, probability of paternity, and DNA marker table, see our guide to understanding paternity test results. Your DNA Specialist can also explain the findings in your report.

Does the Mother Need to Participate?

The child's known biological mother does not have to participate in most standard paternity cases. Her optional cheek-swab reference sample can help the laboratory account for the child's maternal DNA and is included at no additional cost. This supports the father-child comparison and does not include a separate determination of maternity. Tell your specialist if several children have different known mothers, or if the possible fathers are close relatives, so the participant relationships can be recorded correctly.

Informational vs. Legal Testing

This product provides informational results only. If results may be needed for custody, child support, immigration, inheritance, a birth certificate change, court, or another official purpose, choose legal chain-of-custody DNA testing in Omaha. Legal testing requires verified identification, witnessed collection, and documented sample handling.

Professional collection at the office does not by itself make this informational test suitable for official use. Legal testing requires a separately arranged appointment and the correct documentation from the start. For immigration, visa, passport, or citizenship matters, contact us before arranging a standard legal appointment so the appropriate process can be confirmed.

Need a Different DNA Testing Option?

Start With Confidence

Visit My Forever DNA at 7004 Maple Street, Omaha, NE 68104 for professional informational paternity collection. Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours. Call 402-800-7161 if you need to discuss participants, arrange a convenient visit, or ask about kit pickup. Check our current office hours and directions before traveling.

This product is for informational paternity testing and is not intended for court-admissible or official legal use. DNA testing products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or assess any medical condition. Turnaround times begin after the laboratory receives and accepts all samples and required paperwork.

Turnaround from the Omaha office

Results are typically completed and emailed within 1-3 business days after all required samples and completed paperwork are received and accepted by the laboratory. Professional collection at our Omaha office removes the need to wait for a kit to be delivered to you, and our team handles sample submission. Samples still travel to the laboratory before processing begins; the office visit itself does not start the laboratory turnaround window.

Collection time and laboratory dispatch

Most routine in-office cheek-swab collections take approximately 15 minutes or less. Samples are typically dispatched the same business day when possible, and the laboratory processing window begins after the complete case is received and accepted. Weekends and holidays are not counted as laboratory business days. If you pick up a kit, allow additional time to collect and return the samples.

What can extend the timeline

Missing paperwork, participants submitting samples at different times, or a sample that needs further review can delay completion. Your DNA Specialist will explain if the laboratory needs more information or a replacement sample. Complete all participant and recipient details before submission, and tell the team in advance if the case requires separate collection arrangements.

Locally Owned. Woman-Founded. Omaha-Based.

My Forever DNA® has provided private, professional informational paternity DNA testing in Omaha since 2015. Visit our local office to speak face to face with an experienced DNA Specialist and complete a quick, painless cheek-swab collection in a comfortable, confidential setting. Informational results are intended for personal knowledge and cannot be used for court, custody, child support, immigration, or other legal matters.

Local Support From Collection Through Results

Many national companies sell the test, send participants to an unrelated third-party collection site, and deliver results through an impersonal online portal. My Forever DNA® works differently. Our Omaha team coordinates your professional sample collection, laboratory submission, result delivery, and follow-up support, so you always have a knowledgeable person available to answer your questions.

A+ Rating With the Better Business Bureau

My Forever DNA® holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, reflecting our commitment to privacy, transparent communication, responsive customer service, and dependable personal support throughout the paternity DNA testing process.

Private, discreet office experience

The Omaha office is set up for private DNA testing conversations. Collection rooms are separate from the waiting area. Nothing about your visit ends up in a portal, database, or shared record. Your case is handled by one specialist and one lab team, and that's it.

DNA handling

  • Physical samples destroyed after testing per laboratory protocol.
  • No consumer DNA profile is built or stored.
  • No upload to ancestry, genealogy, law enforcement, or research databases.
  • DNA data is never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties.
  • Your case details are kept confidential. Results are emailed only to the authorized recipients listed on the completed Result Notification Form; participating in the test does not automatically identify someone as a report recipient.

Private billing

The charge appears as "MFD" on your credit card or bank statement. No detailed description of what was tested.

How It Works

Step 1 · Walk in or arrange a visit

No appointment is required for standard informational paternity testing. You can walk in during regular business hours or call 402-800-7161 to arrange a convenient visit and discuss the participants. Check our current office hours before traveling. Legal paternity testing requires a separate appointment and case setup.

Step 2 · Arrive at 7004 Maple Street

The office is at 7004 Maple Street, Omaha, NE 68104. Free parking is available. When you arrive, staff will check you in and confirm which relationship you're testing and who the participants are.

Step 3 · Choose in-office collection or kit pickup

Choose professional collection at the office or a kit to collect at home. Your specialist will confirm the participants before the case begins. Complete the participant details and list the authorized result recipients on the Result Notification Form.

Step 4 · Sample collection

For office collection, the specialist guides each participant through the cheek swabs. For a pickup kit, follow the supplied collection and labeling instructions, keeping each person's samples separate. Only submit samples you are legally authorized to provide.

Step 5 · Case logged and samples sent to the lab

For in-office collection, our team labels, packages, and submits the samples, typically dispatching them the same business day when possible. For a pickup kit, return the labeled samples and completed paperwork to the office or use the supplied prepaid FedEx envelope for U.S. sample returns. Follow the enclosed return instructions so the samples and forms reach the correct destination.

Step 6 · Paternity comparison at the lab

The laboratory compares 24 DNA genetic markers with dual processing. Results are typically completed within 1-3 business days after all required samples and completed paperwork are received and accepted by the laboratory. Collection, return transit, and any time needed to complete the case come before that processing window.

Step 7 · Confidential report delivery

The full-color PDF report is emailed only to the authorized recipients listed on the completed Result Notification Form. Your DNA Specialist follows up to confirm receipt and answer questions about the findings. Contact the specialist if you need help completing the recipient details before the report is released.
