At-home informational DNA tests are not intended for court, custody, child support, immigration, birth certificate changes, Social Security claims, inheritance claims, or other legal purposes unless a legal chain-of-custody test is specifically purchased and completed through the required process.

Legal DNA Testing
Legal DNA testing is different from at-home informational testing. Legal testing may require identity verification, witnessed sample collection, proper documentation, chain-of-custody procedures, and other requirements depending on the purpose of the test.
If you need DNA test results for court, custody, child support, immigration, a birth certificate change, inheritance, Social Security, or another official purpose, contact My Forever DNA® before ordering so we can help explain the appropriate testing process.
Ordering an at-home informational DNA test does not make the result legally admissible.
Discreet and Alternative DNA Samples
Some My Forever DNA® products may allow discreet or alternative DNA samples when a standard cheek swab is not available. Examples may include items such as a used toothbrush, hair with the root attached, fingernail or toenail clippings, earwax swabs, used razors, or other personal items, depending on the test and sample type.
Sample viability is not guaranteed. The ability to obtain a usable DNA profile may depend on the sample type, age, condition, storage, handling, contamination, and other factors outside the control of My Forever DNA®.
You are responsible for ensuring that any sample you submit was obtained lawfully and in compliance with applicable privacy, consent, and sample-collection laws.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate order information, shipping information, contact information, participant information, and sample details when placing an order or submitting materials for testing.
You are responsible for carefully reading instructions, collecting samples correctly, returning samples as directed, and contacting our team with questions before submitting samples if anything is unclear.
Incorrect information, incomplete forms, improper sample collection, damaged samples, contaminated samples, or delays in returning samples may affect processing, result delivery, or the ability to complete testing.
Orders, Payment, and Pricing
By placing an order with My Forever DNA®, you agree to provide accurate billing, shipping, and contact information. You also agree that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
