Coordinating between two siblings at different addresses

If the two siblings live at different addresses, only one person needs to place the order. The email with instructions goes to the ordering address, and that person can forward the instructions to the second sibling.

Each sibling collects their own cheek swabs, packages their own envelope, and either ships their envelope directly to the lab or mails it to the ordering sibling to combine into one shipment. Either approach works, though a single combined shipment simplifies the paperwork and reduces shipping cost.

Standard or Alternative DNA Sample Options

Standard cheek swab samples may be collected using clean household cotton swabs.

Approved alternative DNA samples or discreet DNA samples may also be submitted when needed. Each alternative or discreet DNA sample submitted in place of a standard cheek swab requires an additional $100 alternative sample fee per sample.

All DNA samples are processed through a trusted U.S.-based laboratory that is AABB-accredited and CAP-certified.

2. Receive Instructions by Email

Your step-by-step DNA collection instructions and required forms are emailed after purchase. No physical kit is shipped.

3. Collect DNA Samples Privately

Use standard cheek swabs, approved Alternative DNA Samples, or a combination of both. Qualifying samples may include hair with roots, nail clippings, a used toothbrush, earwax swab, chewed gum, or disposable razor.

Each participant’s DNA sample must be packaged separately according to the instructions provided.

4. Return Samples to My Forever DNA®

Send all DNA samples and completed paperwork using a tracked shipping method such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, or another reliable courier.
