2 to 3 Business Day Results After All Required Samples Are Accepted

Your results are typically completed and emailed within 2 to 3 business days after the laboratory receives and accepts all required samples and the completed Result Notification Form.

Because samples are returned separately, you will not receive a sample-received confirmation until all required samples for your case have been received, accepted and placed into processing. This includes additional siblings or a mother's sample when included in your order.

Please use the return FedEx tracking numbers included in your email to monitor when each participant’s DNA samples have been delivered back to the laboratory.

Results are processed and emailed Monday through Friday only. Weekends and holidays are not included in the 2-3 business day result turnaround time.

Your order includes two collection kits, one sent to each of the two shipping addresses, with cheek-swab supplies for the siblings selected when ordering.

For added privacy, each kit is shipped 100% discreetly in a plain FedEx envelope, helping protect the confidential nature of your DNA test from the moment it is delivered.

This multiple-location DNA testing option is ideal when participants cannot collect their samples together but still need a private, accurate, and convenient way to complete DNA testing from home.

Each Kit Includes

• All Lab Fees Included: Your purchase includes the DNA collection kits, laboratory testing, sample processing, and result handling. There are no surprise lab fees or hidden processing fees after purchase.
• Step-by-Step Instructions: Clear, easy-to-follow directions guide each participant through simple, painless cheek swab collection and proper return shipping.
• Result Notification Form: Identifies the authorized recipients of your confidential results. List each person who should receive a copy.

How the Multiple-Location At-Home Sibling DNA Test Kit Works

Step 1 · Order and enter both addresses

Select the total number of siblings and provide the two shipping addresses for your order. One sibling's mother can provide a sample at no additional cost; confirm her collection arrangements when ordering. For more than two shipping addresses, contact us before ordering.

Step 2 · Both kits ship separately

Both kits ship within 1 business day. FedEx delivery in 1 to 2 business days for US addresses.

Step 3 · Each sibling collects at their own home

Each sibling collects two cheek swabs by rubbing each swab against the inside of the cheek for 60 seconds. Air-dry the swabs at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before packaging.

Step 4 · Return samples from each location

Place each participant's dry swabs in their labeled sample envelope. Return the samples and completed Result Notification Form from each location using its prepaid FedEx envelope for U.S. orders.

Step 5 · Lab accepts all required samples

Processing starts after the laboratory receives and accepts all required samples and paperwork linked to your case, including any additional siblings or maternal sample in your order.

Step 6 · Sibling comparison

The lab runs the sibling comparison with dual processing. Results indicate the likelihood of full sibling, half sibling, or not biologically related as siblings.

Step 7 · Report Delivery

Your full-color PDF report is emailed to the authorized recipients listed on the Result Notification Form. The person placing the order and any participant who should receive a copy must be listed on that form. Your dedicated DNA specialist is also available to walk either participant through the report and explain the likelihood ratio in detail, particularly if the results indicate a half-sibling relationship or are inconclusive.
