Paternity + Maternity At-Home DNA Test Kit
Confirm both biological parents with one simple, private at-home DNA test kit.
The My Forever DNA Paternity + Maternity At-Home DNA Test Kit helps determine whether one alleged father and one alleged mother are the biological parents of a child. This private, non-invasive test uses simple cheek swab collection from the comfort of home.
This 2-in-1 DNA test includes testing for one alleged father, one alleged mother, and one child of any age. You will receive two separate result reports: one for paternity and one for maternity.
What the paternity + maternity combo test does
This kit tests one alleged father and one alleged mother against one child in a single order. The lab runs two independent comparisons: one for paternity (father to child) and one for maternity (mother to child). You receive two separate reports, one for each parent-child relationship.
Both comparisons run at 24 DNA genetic markers plus Amelogenin (for gender identification), with dual processing through a US-based AABB-accredited and CAP-certified laboratory partner. When either relationship is confirmed, results typically show 99.999% or higher probability. When either is excluded, exclusion is 100%.
Scenarios where the combo kit fits
-
IVF or fertility treatment verification, confirming both biological parents.
-
Surrogacy or donor conception situations where documentation of biological parentage is needed.
-
Hospital or birth center concerns about a possible baby switch.
-
Private family confirmation of both biological parents in one order.
-
Adoption or reunion cases where both biological parents need verification against the same child.
-
Estate or inheritance cases where both biological parents need to be confirmed.
When to choose the combo kit vs. two separate tests
The combo kit is more efficient than ordering separate paternity and maternity kits. Everything ships together, returns together, and processes together. Both reports are released at the same time. The other reason to choose the combo is when you specifically want to confirm parentage of a child where either parent's relationship is in question, rather than only one.
When to choose a legal DNA test instead
This kit is for informational use only. Results are not admissible in court for either parent and cannot be used in custody, child support, immigration, adoption, or estate proceedings. Legal DNA testing requires witnessed collection and photo identification. If any legal process is involved for either parent-child relationship, order a legal parentage test.
If only one parent needs to be tested
-
Order the standard at-home Paternity DNA Test Kit if only the father-child relationship needs confirmation.
-
Order the standard at-home Maternity DNA Test Kit if only the mother-child relationship needs confirmation.
-
The combo kit is worth ordering when both parents need to be confirmed in the same case.
