Your results are completed and emailed within 2-3 business days after all required participants' DNA samples and completed forms have been received, accepted by the laboratory, and placed into processing. In some cases, results may be completed even sooner.

Because this order includes separate DNA kit shipments, sample tracking works a little differently. You will not receive a sample-received confirmation until all required samples and completed forms for your case have been returned, accepted, and placed into processing.

Please use the return FedEx tracking numbers included in your email to monitor delivery of each location's return package.

Your order includes two complete at-home DNA collection kits, with one kit shipped to each of the two U.S. addresses provided. Participants collecting at the same address use the supplies in that location's kit, with each person's samples kept in their own labeled DNA sample envelope. The $294 base test includes one alleged aunt or uncle and one niece or nephew; additional nieces or nephews must be selected when ordering.

For added privacy, each kit is shipped 100% discreetly in a plain FedEx envelope, helping protect the confidential nature of your DNA test from the moment it is delivered.

This multiple-location DNA testing option is ideal when participants cannot collect their samples together but still need a private, accurate, and convenient way to complete DNA testing from home.

Each Kit Includes

• All Lab Fees Included: Your purchase includes the DNA collection kits, laboratory testing, sample processing, and result handling. There are no surprise lab fees or hidden processing fees after purchase.

How the Multiple-Location Home Aunt or Uncle DNA Test Kit Works

Step 1 · Order and enter both addresses

Select the number of nieces or nephews, choose Alleged Aunt or Alleged Uncle, and indicate whether the child's biological mother will provide a sample. Complete Shipping Location #1 and Shipping Location #2 on this page before adding the test to your cart. One kit is sent to each address; if additional participants are included, contact us before shipping to confirm which location they will use.

Step 2 · Both kits ship separately

Both kits ship within 1 business day. FedEx delivery in 1 to 2 business days for US addresses.

Step 3 · Each participant collects at their own home

Each participant collects two cheek swabs by rubbing each swab against the inside of the cheek for 60 seconds. Air-dry the swabs at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before packaging.

Step 4 · Return the samples from each location

Keep each participant's dry swabs in their own labeled DNA sample envelope. Follow the kit instructions to place the sample envelopes and completed Result Notification Form from that address in the prepaid U.S. FedEx return package. The two locations can send their packages separately by dropping them at a FedEx location or arranging a pickup.

Step 5 · Processing begins when the case is complete

The laboratory matches the returns using the shared case identifier. Processing begins after all required participants' samples and completed forms have been received and accepted, including any additional participants selected for the case. The typical 2-3 business day result turnaround starts at that point, not when the first package is delivered.

Step 6 · Avuncular comparison

The lab runs the aunt or uncle comparison with dual processing. Results express the likelihood of the tested relationship.

Step 7 · Report delivery

The full-color PDF report is emailed to the authorized recipients listed on the Result Notification Form. Your dedicated DNA specialist is also available to explain the likelihood ratio and answer any questions about the results.
