Please note: Results are processed and emailed Monday through Friday only. Weekends and holidays are not included in the 5-7 business day turnaround time.

For comparison, standard cheek-swab DNA tests are typically completed within 1-3 business days after samples are received and accepted by the laboratory. However, because this test may use alternative or discreet DNA samples instead of standard cheek swabs for one or more participants, the samples must first go through additional review and processing within the laboratory’s advanced forensic DNA department. Alternative DNA samples may require extra handling, evaluation, and preparation before testing can be completed, which is why the turnaround time is longer than a standard cheek-swab DNA test.
