Results are processed and emailed Monday through Friday only. Weekends and holidays are not included in the 1-3 business day result turnaround time.

All lab testing fees and FedEx® shipping (both ways) are included in the total price - so you’ll never pay extra for processing or return delivery.

Kits ship within 1 business day (with overnight delivery available at checkout). Once your samples arrive at the lab, your confidential results are delivered via email within 1-3 business days.

How It Works

Step 1 · Order and receive the kit

Kit ships within 1 business day in plain FedEx packaging. Orders placed before 1 PM CST Monday through Friday typically ship the same day.

Step 2 · Open the kit and identify each envelope

The kit contains three sets of swabs (one for the father, one for each child) and three individually labeled envelopes. Label each envelope with the participant's identifier before starting collection.

Step 3 · Collect cheek swabs from each participant

The alleged father collects two swabs. Each child collects two swabs. Rub each swab firmly against the inside of the cheek for 60 seconds. The process is painless at any age.

Step 4 · Air-dry all swabs before packaging

Let all swabs air-dry at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Never seal wet swabs, never use plastic bags.

Step 5 · Package each participant's samples separately

Place each participant's dry swabs into their labeled envelope. Complete the notification form with the case identifier and each child's identifier.

Step 6 · Ship samples to the lab

Put everything into the prepaid FedEx return envelope. Drop at any FedEx location or arrange a pickup. Tracking is included.

Step 7 · Lab logs samples and processes both comparisons

When the lab receives the package, your specialist confirms intake. The paternity comparisons for both children run at 24 markers with dual processing over 1 to 3 business days.

Step 8 · Both reports emailed together

Both paternity reports are released as full-color PDFs to the contact you specified. Your specialist walks through the reports if either outcome needs explanation.
